Always wanted to learn how to paint or collage with encaustic?
I offer a selection of 3 Hour Encaustic Workshops to individuals or pairs of students in my private NE Portland Studio. Currently, I prefer to keep my classes small and hands-on. As a result, I offer Open Weekends when I am available to teach and inspire students. Open Weekend Workshops give you the opportunity to select what you want to learn and to come and work in my studio in a relaxed environment.

If you are so inspired, you are free to bring favorite images, decorative paper or natural materials.

Sign up for an Open Weekend workshop! How it works:
- Dates of the Open Weekends are listed below for potential classes.
- The first student to sign up for a Date selects their desired workshop from the list of options above and selects a time of day: Morning (9:30am – 12:30pm) or Afternoon (1pm – 4pm). So classes are dictated by those who sign up!
- After confirmation, this web page will list that class and allow one more student.
- A second student may join a listed workshop or choose a different date if they wish to take a different workshop.
Open Weekends are available and you can pay online.
Please select the Workshop level you desire, date, and time of day (e.g., Encaustic 101, August 20, 2010, Morning 9am -12pm)
To register by phone or if you have questions, please call me at 503.208.4278 or email me kindra.crick [at] gmail (dot) com
Payments due to reserve your space.
Classes are offered and filled on a first come, first served basis.
(Note: I will make exceptions and take three students, if the students already know each other, sign up together, and would prefer to take a class together – you know who you are! Otherwise current classes are limited to 2 students.)
Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel 10 days before a class date for a full refund or you may change to another class.
- Cancellations less than 10 days before the class date are only fully refunded if the space is filled by another paying student.
- No refund for no shows.
- In the unlikely event a workshop is canceled you will receive a full refund.
