Current Work
Kindra's work explores concepts of abstract perception and point of view. Her paintings layer ink, text, oil and glitter on heavy prepared paper. Each layer masks writing and imagery. The addition of text, which is both repeated and hidden, is folded in on itself offers the viewer hints but no decisive reading.
Other works include interactive media installations, displayed on digital screens, that change and respond uniquely to different viewers.
Viewers transform the work as they gaze upon it, causing distortion or revealing details of the underlying image.
